Berlin, 7 September 2018. In light of the company’s continued growth, experienced legal expert Tilman Wink was appointed to SIGNA Sports United, Europe’s leading e-commerce sports platform, at the beginning of September.
Since 1 September 2018, Wink has been responsible for the legal department of SIGNA Sports United as General Counsel. Apart from legal support for the continued growth of SIGNA Sports Group, his main responsibilities include the expansion and further integration of its online platform.
Wink was born in Baden-Württemberg and completed his education in Germany, France and the US, and he can look back on around 16 years of professional experience. In his most recent position, he served for almost seven years as Senior Counsel for Baker McKenzie in Frankfurt, where his primary focus was on the business sectors Corporate Law, M&A and Capital Markets Law. Prior to this, he worked for around eight years at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Frankfurt and New York, where he was also mainly involved in Corporate and Capital Markets Law.
